A Question About the Tool

If something in the mouse tester is not behaving the way you expected, a button not lighting up, the scroll counter doing something strange, or a result that does not match what you are seeing in real use, tell us what happened. Include your browser name, your operating system, and a quick description of the mouse you were testing. That makes it much easier to reproduce the issue and figure out whether it is a bug or something specific to your setup.

A Problem With the Site

Broken links, a page that loads poorly on your device, an image that is missing, or something that just looks wrong, we want to know. One message is enough. You do not need to follow up unless you hear nothing after a week.

Content That Seems Inaccurate

The articles and explanations on Mouse Tester are written to be accurate and updated when better information comes along. If something reads as wrong, outdated, or misleading, flag it with the page name and the specific part you think needs a second look. We take these seriously.

An Ad That Seems Off

Ads on this site are served by Google AdSense. We do not control which ads appear, and seeing an ad on Mouse Tester is not the same as us recommending what it is selling. If an ad looks harmful, misleading, or out of place, you can report it directly to Google — but letting us know as well helps. We cannot pull individual ads ourselves, but repeated reports about a specific type give us grounds to escalate with Google.

A Legal or Data Request

If you have a request related to your data, what we hold, whether anything can be deleted, or a concern under GDPR, CCPA, or similar, send it to legal@mousetester. We cover what we actually collect and how long we keep it in our terms and conditions, which also explains the limits of the site and what you are agreeing to by using it.

What We Cannot Help With

A few things fall outside what we can assist with:

Mouse Hardware Support

Mouse Tester is a browser-based diagnostic tool. We are not affiliated with any mouse manufacturer, and we cannot repair, replace, or provide warranty support for your hardware. If your test shows a hardware failure, contact the manufacturer or retailer where you purchased it. Do not contact us.

Driver or App Issues

If the tester is working fine, but the issue is with a specific game or app, it is most likely a software problem above the browser and not a hardware issue with the mouse itself. That kind of problem sits with the game developer or your operating system, not with us.

Purchasing Advice

We do not sell mice, and we do not earn a commission for recommending specific models. Questions like "which mouse should I buy for my setup?" are outside what this site covers.

A Note on Response Times

We are a small team. Five business days is the realistic window, not a worst-case estimate. If your issue is straightforward, you will usually hear back sooner. If it requires investigating a bug or confirming something technical, it may take a little longer, but you will get a reply either way.

Duplicate messages slow things down. One email is enough.

Feedback

If the tool helped you catch something before you replaced a working mouse, or if it gave you a result that saved some time, we genuinely like hearing that too. Not because we need the validation, but because it helps us understand what is actually useful versus what is just taking up space on the site.

The same goes for the opposite. If something was confusing, unhelpful, or harder to use than it should have been, that is worth knowing.
